Scherzo with Tyrannosaur by Robert Walters

Michael Swanwick describes how the painting came to be: "That's my wife, Marianne Porter in the bottom right-hand corner of the painting, and me beside her. When Bob Walters was assigned the cover for «Scherzo With Tyrannosaur» by Asimov's, he invited Marianne and me to the Walters & Kissinger studio for supper. He posed us and another couple he knew behind the dinner table with glasses of champagne, raised his camera, and said, «Look fatuous!» I think we did a great job."
